International Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese, will be thrilling fans by extending her highly anticipated evening of glamour and seduction in her critically acclaimed, "The Art of the Teese." This leg of the bout is set to boot off Baronial 29th in San Antonio, TX and will wrap September 15th in Philadelphia, PA.
"I'm over the moon most the success of the new show and the way we've been embraced in cities the tour has never traveled to before. I've been adding new elements to the show, and this time, it'south an opulent new version of my champagne glass act. I worked with my best friend and longtime collaborator Catherine D'Lish to create a corrupt and distinctively designed champagne coupe of gilded gold, crystallized with amazing amounts of pavé Swarovski crystal. I feel very inspired in this moment in fourth dimension when burlesque is truly being recognized, and I'm pleased to bring together this show stopping bandage for an unforgettable nighttime."
The decadent spectacle treats audiences to 4 of Von Teese's most exhilarating performances, including a brand new version of her iconic "Martini Glass" routine which features a cute new baroque style gold champagne glass, crystallized from acme to bottom with over 150,000 Swarovski crystals. Each evidence throughout the tour will showcase the stunning visuals of the sectional acts that have made Von Teese the consummate performer in modern burlesque, captivating the imagination and transporting audiences worldwide.
The Art of the Teese bout brings new acts never before seen in the United States including "Lazy," an act merely ever performed at The Crazy Equus caballus Paris (including new costuming from British designer Jenny Packham), an all-new ballet-themed act "Swan Lake Stripteese," plus a revitalization of her prove-stopping Rhinestone Cowgirl Act with her sexy male "Vontourage."
The "Caricatural Superheroine" (Vanity Fair) will be joined on stage by an eclectic supporting cast of today'southward brightest stars of Burlesque, with caricatural fan favorite Dirty Martini tassel-twirling while riding Dita's famous Swarovski Crystallized Carousel Horse and caricatural star Ginger Valentine performing with one of Dita's almost beloved signature acts, "My Eye Belongs to Daddy" ,which features Dita's signature giant carmine filigree eye prop. Jett Adore brings the house down with his Zorro human activity that Dita calls "…the best boylesque act ever created!", and Australian import Zelia Rose captivates the audiences with her mod Josephine Baker tribute. Rupaul'due south Elevate Race Flavor 7 winner Violet Chachki brings the house down with her stunning Fine art Deco Striptease, and Dita's Vontourage appears throughout the 2 hour show with numbers that showcase their magnificent dance talent. The evening is hosted by comedian and singer Jonny McGovern, creator of the pop YouTube channel "Hey Qween!"
